ELIZABETHTON — Raymond Tolley, 88, Elizabethton passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, in the Pine Ridge Care & Rehab Center.

A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Dave & Julie Hilman Tolley. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed at North American Rayon Corporation for 32 years and retired from Kennametal. Raymond was a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Pauline Haldren Tolley; two sisters, Ruth Tolley and Ethel Hayes; and two brothers, Phillip Tolley and Zeke Tolley.

Survivors include a son, Adrian Raymond Tolley; his nephews, Billy Tolley, Johnson City, Dean Tolley, and Douglas Tolley both of Elizabethton, Zeke Tolley, Jr., Hampton and Jimmy Calfee, Hilton Head, South Carolina; his nieces, Patsy Johnson Elizabethton and Aleta Williams, Danville, Virginia; his sister-in-law, Mary Tolley, Elizabethton.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Gary Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Dean Tolley, Zeke Tolley, Jr., Walt Slagle and Henry Williams.

The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the Pine Ridge Care & Rehab Center, The Staff & Dr. Jaishankar Onocology office, Johnson City and members of the Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.

MRS. OMA TOLLEY
Mrs. Oma Tolley, age 77, a life-time resident of Carter County and a member of the Little Doe Freewill Baptist Church from an early age, died at the home of her son, Dave Tolley of Hampton, Friday night at 12:00.
Survivors are: two sons, Dave and Charlie Tolley of Hampton; six daughters, Mrs. Bell Blevins and Mrs. William Lyons of Roan Mountain, Mrs. J. G. Robinson of Doeville, Mrs. Wade Sluder and Mrs. Arthur Clark of Hampton, and Mrs. W. A. Sells of Johnson City; and one brother, D. C. Tolley of Hampton; 30 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Little Doe Church Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. W. M. Howell officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
Pallbearers: grandsons, flower girls, granddaughters; honorable pallbearers, A. L. Cates, E. S. Stephens, J. D. Simerly, Frank Cornett, J. D. Cates and Reece Hill.
