She retired as a clerk with the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Glen Burnie, where she had been employed for 29 years. She was a member of the Conway United Methodist Church of Orlando.

Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, July 10, at Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services and interment were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
