Terry Lynn Campbell, 67, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in Elizabethton. Terry was born in Elizabethton, the son of Fred L. Campbell and Barbara A. (Culbert) Campbell.
Terry had been a member of Grace Baptist in Elizabethton for many years. He was a graduate of the 1972 Class of Elizabethton High School. He worked at Kennemetal for over 22 years.
Terry enjoyed fishing, guns and collecting coins.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Jonathan Christopher Campbell and Colby Jordan Campbell (Frankie Walker); his sister, Robyn Campbell Greene; two grandchildren, Jordon Bryant Campbell and Colbyn James Campbell Jr.; one niece, Khara Madden; two nephews, Charles R. (Melissa) Greene and N. Chase (Eva) Greene; and five great-nieces.

Master Sergeant Fred L. Campbell, U.S. Army (Retired), age 80, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 in the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Mr.

He was the son of the late George John and Nora Johnson Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Campbell.

Mr. Campbell was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a former member of Fairview and Sinking Creek Baptist churches. He was a member of Gideon International and a 50 year member of Dashiell Mason, Lodge No. 238 F&AM, a member of Jericho Shrine, a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite, and a member of Kerbela Shrine Temple of Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Campbell was a veteran of the United States Air Force, United States Navy, United States Marine Corp and retired from the United States Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the American Legion Watauga Post No. 49.

A Celebration of the Life service for Mr. Fred Campbell was held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, Tennessee.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2013 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Full military honors will be accorded by the Military Honor Guard.

ELIZABETHTON - Barbara Ann Culbert Campbell age 85 of Elizabethton, Tennessee went to join Jesus on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Hermitage Health Care. Barbara was born December 3, 1935 to Roland Charles Culbert and Norma Edith Bradley Culbert in Rome Hollow, Carter County, Tennessee.

Barbara met and married the love of her life Fred Lee Campbell in 1952. Barbara graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1953. Fred was in the Air Force, and they made their first home in Georgia.

They returned to Elizabethton to raise their family.

Left to cherish her memory are beloved daughter Robyn Campbell Greene and her children Charles (Melissa) Greene, daughters Hope and Leann Faith (coming in November), Chase (Eva) Greene, daughter Olivia all of Nashville. Khara Greene Madden and her daughters Allie Greene and Hailey Thornhill of Kentucky. Son, Terry Campbell, Eliz. and his children Chris Campbell, Elizabethton. CJ Campbell and sons Jordan and Colbyn of Johnson City. Three brothers, Conley Culbert, Athens, TN. Bobby (Orpha) Culbert, Twinsburg, OH and Kenneth Culbert, Greeneville, TN.

In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation at JDRF.org. This is very dear to her since her great-granddaughter Allie was diagnosed as a diabetic.

Barbara wants to thank everyone that called and visited especially the following. Dianne Arrowood and Sheryl Garland, Larry Tierney, Rev. Bob Polk, Phyllis Brewer, Ann Teter, Jana Lisa Hicks, David and Kathy Shorter and members of her Sunday School class at Grace Baptist Church.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Travis Tyler officiating. Pallbearers will be: Charles Greene, Chase Greene, C.J. Campbell and friends.

George married Nora Johnson on 21 Mar 1931 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee. Nora was born on 2 Nov 1913 in Unicoi County, , , Tennessee; died on 12 Sep 2002 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Happy Valley Memorial Park, , Carter County, Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

She was the daughter of the late G.B. and Martha Davis Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George J. Campbell, a son, Robert Campbell, and by three sisters and a brother.

She had been an employee of the Coning Department of North American Rayon Corporation for 42 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services and interment were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Happy Valley Memorial Park.

Floyd married Sudia Harriet Scalf about 1898. Sudia (daughter of Solomon D. Scalf and Sarah Jane Emmert) was born on 5 Jan 1882 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 23 Feb 1958 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Will Mottern Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.
