H. SHEFFIELD
Robert H. Sheffield, 75, died at his home 338 Elk Avenue, Friday evening at 11:06 after an illness of several years. Mr. Sheffield was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Addie Sheffield; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar Mitchell, Elizabethton; Mrs. Henry Hale, Waynesville, N.C., and Mrs. Earnest Crow, Fayetteville, N.C.; two sons, Clarence and Howard of Elizabethton; one brother Dayton Sheffield, Rt. 3, Elizabethton; one sisters, Mrs. Alice Ward, Elk Mills, and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. E. A. Cox and the Rev. J. J. Musick officiating. Music will be in charge of the choir and the Sunnyside Quartet. Burial will be made in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers: Herbert Billheimer, Hobart Murry, Joseph Radar, Earl Netherly, Clarence Cameron, and Stanley Sheffield.
The body was returned to the home Saturday afternoon and will remain there until 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon, when it will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour before time for the services. Roy Hathaway Funeral Home is in charge.
