- Mina Lou Crosswhite, 77, 412 Owl Hollow Road, Shady Valley, Tenn., died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, in the Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a Johnson County native and was a daughter of the late Elmer and Flossie Owens Breeding. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Crosswhite, who died march 26, 1995, also by two sisters, Stella Snyder and Ann Isaacs.
She was a housewife and a member of the Shady Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wade Crosswhite, Elizabethton, Tenn.; Elmer Forrest "Bill" Crosswhite, Bristol, Tenn.; and Thomas Phil Crosswhite, Bluff City, Tenn.; three daughters, Ethel Carolyn Hardin, Elizabethton, Tenn.; Linda Joyce Rodefer, Bristol, Tenn.; and Betty Lou Payne, Mountain City; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Percy-Hux Funeral Home, 423-727-9221, 300 Main Street, Mountain City, Tenn., is in charge of the arrangements.
CROSSWHITE -- Funeral services for Mina Lou Crosswhite, 77, 412 Owl Hollow Road, Shady Valley, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday from the chapel of the Percy-Hux Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Owens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chet Crosswhite, Johnnie Crosswhite, Eddie Crosswhite, Greg Baines, Ricky Baines, Scott Matherly, and Jamie Hardin. Dr. Donald Quinn will be an honorary pallbearer.
